One thing I noticed is that, in contrast to almost every horse you see now in upper level dressage competition, there was hardly a rider at the Spanish Riding School using excessive curb rein pressure - in fact most riders had a relaxed or even loose curb rein.
As well as the tactful riding, I was so impressed with how thoughtfully the horses are raised.
There is such a high priority on the horses' well being, and developing trust in their handlers. The scene of the young stallion being backed was gorgeous...

Were you thinking the same thing I was watching that? Dream job. Only I'm probably not good looking enough to be hired, those women were gorgeous.
