One thing I noticed is that, in contrast to almost every horse you see now in upper level dressage competition, there was hardly a rider at the Spanish Riding School using excessive curb rein pressure - in fact most riders had a relaxed or even loose curb rein.
Yes, that was quite nice. I also enjoyed seeing how the young horses live, idyllic!

As well as the tactful riding, I was so impressed with how thoughtfully the horses are raised. There is such a high priority on the horses' well being, and developing trust in their handlers. The scene of the young stallion being backed was gorgeous... Loved this doc soooo much.
Were you thinking the same thing I was watching that? Dream job. Only I'm probably not good looking enough to be hired, those women were gorgeous.
